Position Overview

This is a central medical position at Canvas Medical Spa. The MA provides clinical skills, customer services, and assistance to our Medical Provider. This team member is part of a team to grow the aesthetic business through education, cross-selling and professionalism.

Specific Job Functions

• Client Consultation
• Knowledge of all the services we offer to be able to speak to clients on it
• History and Physical of patient
• Charting for all consultations & procedures
• Perform TED Hair Restoration Treatments
• Cleaning, and disinfecting room of treatment
• Providing the care and supervision of these patients
• Follow-up visits for complications and medical management
• Selling and upselling of medical spa procedures and skin care products as required by management
• Participation in all marketing events to promote the growth of Canvas Medical Spa
• Marketing and promotion of services in the community
• Assists the Medical Provider(s) in procedures as needed
• Able to draw blood

Non-Specific Job Functions

• Representative to the community for Canvas Medical Spa
• Participate in marketing events / open house events at Canvas Medical Spa

Requirements

• Current MA Licensing in New York
• Keep training current by attending courses related to medical spa industry

Other Skills/Abilities

• MS Office
• Sales, Clerical, Typing, Computer Medical Spa Management Software
• Ability to work as a team member in a rapidly growing business

Pay: $20.45 - $24.63 per hour
